Our readers are mostly homeowners updating a bathroom, DIYers swapping a tired head, and people who want a shower that's easier to reach and use.
You don't need to know plumbing terms to use our guides. We explain words like rough-in, pressure balance and trim kit when they come up.
What we cover
We cover rain shower systems, complete faucet sets, body jet systems, handheld and combo heads, slide bars and hoses. We also explain valves and trim, so you know what will fit before you order.
Our reviews and comparisons look at the brands people weigh most often, model by model.
How we work
We read the specs, the parts list and the maker's information for every product we cover. We also look at what owners report after living with a set for a while.

What we are not
We don't make or sell shower products, and no brand pays us to rank its sets.
Homemize is not affiliated with Delta, Moen, Kohler or any other shower maker.
We don't claim to have tested every product ourselves. When we pick something, we say why, based on its specs, its parts and buyer feedback.
We also don't give in-wall plumbing steps. For valve work, follow the maker's instructions and your local code, and call a licensed plumber when in doubt.
