9 Best Delta Shower Head With Handheld Combo (November 2026)

The best Delta shower heads with handheld combos include the BOZYBO Rain Shower Head with Handheld Showerhead for full-body rain coverage, the Delta 4-Setting In2ition 2-in-1 Dual Shower Head (best overall for most bathrooms), and the Delta 5-Setting HydroRain 2-in-1 Dual Shower Head for cleaning the shower itself.

  3. What should you check before buying a Delta combo head?
  4. Which Delta combo head should you buy?

The best Delta shower head with handheld combo for most bathrooms is the Delta 4-Setting In2ition 2-in-1 Dual Shower Head, because the hand shower docks right in the head and can run on its own or with the main spray. Pick the HydroRain if you want a spray that cleans tile faster, or the PivotPro if you need the head to pivot for height.

A combo head earns its place when two people share one shower and want different things from it. One wants a wide rain soak, the other wants a wand for rinsing hair, kids or the tub floor.

A diverter gives you both without a second shower arm.

Our shower head with handheld buyer's guide covers the diverter types if you're still deciding between a combo and a separate wand. For the rain-first view, see our roundup of the best rain shower heads with handheld.

The best Delta shower head with handheld combos, ranked

The In2ition wins for everyday use because its wand nests in the head and the diverter sends water to either spray or both. The rest of the field splits by finish, head size and how much install work you'll take on.

BOZYBO Rain Shower Head with Handheld Showerhead: Best for full-body rain coverage

BOZYBO Rain Shower Head with Handheld Showerhead, Delta shower heads with handheld combos
9.6/10Our score
  • 12 in square rain head
  • 9-spray handheld
  • Magnetic docking
  • 59 in hose

A 12 in square rain head with a 9-spray handheld that docks by magnet. The widest rain coverage in this group.

See it on Amazon

Pros

  • 12 in square head covers more of the body
  • Handheld has 9 spray settings
  • Magnetic dock holds the wand in place

Cons

  • Not a Delta brand
  • Large head needs overhead clearance

The BOZYBO combo tops this list on coverage. Its 12 in square head is the widest face here, so more of your shoulders and back sit under the water at once.

The handheld carries 9 spray settings, including power jets for rinsing pets or cleaning the tub.

The head face carries 278 spray nozzles, with 274 anti-clog nozzles plus 4 larger massage nozzles that push a stronger stream at your head or shoulders. Docking works by magnet through a metal buckle structure, so the wand stays put when it is not in your hand.

That magnetic buckle is patented, which is why the wand holds steady instead of drooping.

The bracket knob switches water between the rain head, the wand or both. That matters in a busy bathroom where one person wants the soak and another needs the wand in the same minute.

The hose runs 59 in and the kit weighs about 4 lb. Everything needed to mount it ships in the box, including the shower arm, spare washer and thread tape.

The trade-off is the badge: this is not a Delta. If you want Delta's finish warranty or its Touch-Clean holes, choose one of the models below.

The large face also needs overhead clearance, so measure from the arm to the ceiling before you commit. And with 1.75 GPM feeding a 12 in face, the rain stream is soft rather than forceful.

Delta 4-Setting In2ition 2-in-1 Dual Shower Head: Best overall for most bathrooms

Delta 4-Setting In2ition 2-in-1 Dual Shower Head, Delta shower heads with handheld combos
9.3/10Our score
  • Detachable hand shower docks in the head
  • 4 spray settings
  • Pause setting
  • 60 in hose

The hand shower docks inside the fixed head and can run alone or with it. The simplest Delta combo to live with day to day.

See it on Amazon

Pros

  • Hand shower and head run together
  • Pause setting for lathering
  • Brilliance finish resists corrosion

Cons

  • Round head gives less rain coverage than a 12 in square
  • Plastic body

The In2ition is the combo most people should buy. The hand shower docks inside the fixed head, so it stays warm and out of the way, then detaches when you need reach.

A 3-way diverter runs the fixed spray, the wand or both together.

Four settings cover full body, massage, a combined spray and pause. The pause setting drops water to a trickle while you lather or shave, which is handy when the wand is in your hand and the overhead is still on.

The wand's hose is 60 in.

Delta's Brilliance finish is tested for corrosion resistance at twice industry standards, and the Touch-Clean holes wipe free of calcium with a finger. Because the wand nests in the head, the shower stays warm instead of cooling while you hold it.

The head is round rather than square and the body is plastic, which keeps the weight down.

Against the bigger rain heads here, the round face gives less full-body coverage. Against the full kits, it's a five-minute swap onto your existing arm.

That ease is why it sits second overall and first for most bathrooms. The head measures 5.81 in by 6.13 in, small enough that it never crowds a low ceiling.

Delta 5-Setting HydroRain 2-in-1 Dual Shower Head: Best for cleaning the shower itself

Delta 5-Setting HydroRain 2-in-1 Dual Shower Head, Delta shower heads with handheld combos
9.1/10Our score
  • ProClean high-pressure spray
  • Pivoting raincan
  • 5 spray settings
  • Hand shower docks in head

A pivoting raincan plus a detachable hand shower with a ProClean spray aimed at soap scum and tile.

See it on Amazon

Pros

  • ProClean spray for tile and grime
  • Ra incan pivots to change angle
  • Lumicoat finish is third-party certified

Cons

  • Round raincan is smaller than a square 12 in head
  • ProClean spray is more about cleaning than relaxing

HydroRain is the pick when cleaning the shower is part of why you want a wand. Its ProClean spray is built to power off soap scum and hit tile and hard-to-reach corners without scrubbing.

Delta says it cleans twice as fast as standard sprays.

The raincan pivots to change the angle, and the hand shower docks in the head or works on its own. Five settings include full body, massage, shampoo rinsing and pause.

The whole fixture weighs 16 oz, so the arm carries little load. The fan spray is wide and focused, which is what lets it cover tile quickly.

The Lumicoat finish is third-party certified against cracking, peeling and color change. If you have glass doors and a tiled wall that show every splash, this is the head that earns its keep.

The hose and head come in the box and it fits a standard shower arm. The fixture spans about 13.63 in front to back, so check it clears your shower door swing.

Its round raincan is smaller than the square 10 and 12 in faces here, so the rain experience is less drenching. It's also more cleaning tool than spa fixture.

Choose it for maintenance, not for a rainfall soak. The 1.75 GPM flow keeps it water efficient on both sprays.

Delta Matte Black Rain Shower Head: Best for a matte black bathroom

Delta Matte Black Rain Shower Head, Delta shower heads with handheld combos
8.9/10Our score
  • 10 in square rain head
  • 3-way diverter
  • 72 in hose
  • Matte black finish

A square rain head and hand shower in a matte black finish, with a long hose and a 3-way diverter.

See it on Amazon

Pros

  • 10 in square rain coverage
  • 72 in hose gives extra reach
  • Matte black finish tested to 3x industry corrosion standards

Cons

  • 3 spray settings is fewer than the other picks
  • Matte black shows water spots more than chrome

This matte black kit pairs a 10 in square rain head with a hand shower and a 3-way diverter. The square face gives broad coverage, and the matte black finish is tested for corrosion resistance at three times industry standards.

That is the toughest finish test in this group.

The hose is 72 in, the longest here alongside the SureDock. That reach helps when you rinse the tub floor or wash a dog without stretching.

A wall mounting bracket comes in the box, so there's no need to open the wall. The head measures about 9.94 in across and the kit includes the adjustable mount and hose.

Three spray settings cover the basics, fewer than the 4, 5 and 6 settings on the other Delta picks. Matte black also shows water spots more than chrome, so it needs a wipe more often.

The diverter lets you run the rain head, the wand or both. The 1.75 GPM flow meets the WaterSense standard, so the wide face doesn't cost extra water.

Choose it when the bathroom already runs matte black fixtures and you want the rain head to match. Skip it if you want the most spray options for the money.

The long hose is the reason to pick it over the smaller round rain heads.

Delta Arvo 14 Series tub and shower set with In2ition, matte black: Best for a full tub and shower refresh

Delta Arvo 14 Series tub and shower set with In2ition, matte black, Delta shower heads with handheld combos
8.8/10Our score
  • In2ition 2-in-1 head
  • Valve and trim included
  • Monitor pressure-balanced cartridge
  • Tub spout

A complete tub and shower kit with the In2ition combo head and a pressure-balanced valve in the box.

See it on Amazon

Pros

  • Valve and trim come in the box
  • Monitor cartridge holds temperature steady
  • Full kit for a remodel

Cons

  • Needs a full install, not a screw-on swap
  • 6 in head is smaller than the rain picks

The Arvo is the pick when the whole tub and shower is getting replaced, not just the head. The kit includes the In2ition combo head, the valve and trim, a tub spout and the hose, so one box covers the job.

The Monitor pressure-balanced cartridge keeps the water temperature steady when a toilet flushes or the washing machine kicks on. That's the feature that makes a full kit worth the extra install work over a screw-on head.

The kit weighs 5.2 lb and the tub spout reaches 6.56 in.

The In2ition wand detaches or docks, and four spray settings include pause. The matte black finish is salt-fog tested past 12 hours, triple the industry standard.

The valve is a MultiChoice universal model, so a later trim swap won't mean opening the tile again. The single brass handle controls both flow and temperature.

The trade-off is scope. This needs the valve fitted behind the wall, so it's a remodel part rather than a weekend swap.

The 6 in head is also smaller than the rain picks. Buy it if you're already opening the wall, and choose a screw-on combo if you aren't.

At 1.75 GPM at 80 PSI, it performs like the other Delta picks.

6

Delta Faucet 6-Spray SureDock Magnetic Shower Head: Best for a strong magnetic dock

Delta Faucet 6-Spray SureDock Magnetic Shower Head, Delta shower heads with handheld combos
8.4/10Our score
  • MagnaTite magnetic docking
  • 6 spray settings
  • 72 in hose
  • Brushed stainless

A handheld-focused head with a magnet that snaps the wand back into place and holds it there.

See it on Amazon

Pros

  • MagnaTite magnet keeps the wand docked
  • 6 spray settings
  • 72 in hose

Cons

  • Fixed head is smaller than the combo rain heads
  • Single jet rather than a full rain face

The SureDock is for the person who mostly wants a great handheld. A MagnaTite magnet on the back of the wand snaps it into the bracket and holds it there, so it doesn't droop between uses.

That is the whole pitch of this head, and it does that one job better than the combos here.

Six settings cover full body, massage, shampoo rinsing and pause. The hose is 72 in, long enough to reach across a tub.

The brushed stainless finish suits most modern bathrooms, and the unit weighs 1.7 lb. The wand is light enough to hold overhead while you rinse shampoo without your arm tiring.

The fixed head is smaller than the combo rain faces here and runs a single jet, so it's less of a rain soak and more of a wand-first setup. That's the honest trade: you get the best docking here and the least overhead coverage.

It is also the simplest install in this group, since the head and hose are all that ship. The head spans about 10.18 in by 4.88 in.

Pick it if reach and a firm dock matter more than a wide rain face. Skip it if the fixed head is the star of your shower.

The 1.75 GPM flow and WaterSense label keep it efficient either way.

Delta Ashlyn 17 Series Matte Black Dual-Function: Best for separate temperature and volume control

Delta Ashlyn 17 Series Matte Black Dual-Function, Delta shower heads with handheld combos
8.2/10Our score
  • Dual-function handle
  • In2ition 2-in-1 head
  • 4 spray settings
  • Matte black trim

A trim kit with a dual-function handle so temperature and volume adjust separately, paired with the In2ition head.

See it on Amazon

Pros

  • Handle sets temperature and volume separately
  • In2ition head runs both sprays at once
  • Corrosion-tested matte black finish

Cons

  • Rough-in valve sold separately
  • Trim kit only, so plan the valve cost

The Ashlyn suits anyone who wants to set temperature and water volume separately. Its dual-function handle splits the two, so you can keep the temperature you like and dial the flow up or down without readjusting the mix.

A single-handle combo makes you do both at once.

It pairs the same In2ition 2-in-1 head with four spray settings and a matte black finish tested for corrosion at twice industry standards. The wand docks in the head and can run at the same time as the fixed spray.

The kit weighs 3 lb and the spout reaches 7.9 in. The handle is brass, which feels sturdier than the plastic bodies on the screw-on heads.

The catch is in the box. This is a trim kit only, and the rough-in valve sells separately.

That's a real cost and a real install step, so plan for both before you order. Delta lists the R10000-UN as the matching rough-in valve.

The kit does include the mixing cartridge, mounting hardware and escutcheon plate.

Choose it when separate volume control matters to you and you're already doing a valve install. Otherwise a screw-on In2ition head gives you the same wand for far less work.

The head size is medium, so it sits between the compact SureDock and the wide rain faces.

Delta 6-Setting PivotPro 3-in-1 Combination Shower Head: Best for adjustable height in brushed nickel

Delta 6-Setting PivotPro 3-in-1 Combination Shower Head, Delta shower heads with handheld combos
8.1/10Our score
  • 7 in raincan pivots 360 degrees
  • 6 spray settings
  • ProClean spray
  • SureDock magnetic hand shower

A 7 in raincan that pivots through 360 degrees for height and angle, with a magnetic hand shower alongside.

See it on Amazon

Pros

  • Pivoting raincan changes height and angle
  • SpotShield finish resists water spots
  • 6 spray settings including ProClean

Cons

  • 7 in raincan is smaller than a 10 or 12 in head
  • Pivot arm needs overhead room

The PivotPro is the pick when the people sharing the shower are different heights. Its 7 in raincan pivots 360 degrees and offers extended height options, so you can tilt or raise the spray to suit you.

That solves the problem a fixed arm can't.

Six settings include ProClean, full body, massage, shampoo rinsing and pause. The SureDock magnetic hand shower docks alongside and can run with the overhead or alone through the 3-way diverter.

SpotShield brushed nickel resists water spots and fingerprints. The unit weighs 16 oz and spans about 16.44 in front to back.

The 7 in head is smaller than the 10 and 12 in rain faces here, so coverage is narrower. The pivoting arm also needs overhead room to swing.

The brushed nickel finish hides spots better than matte black, which makes it the easier one to keep clean. Everything ships in one box: hand shower, mount, shower arm, head and hose.

Choose it for a family with a big height gap or for a bathroom where the arm sits low. Skip it if you want the widest rain face and don't need to move the head.

The 1.75 GPM flow keeps the pivot and the wand efficient on both sprays.

Delta 6-Setting PivotPro 3-in-1 Combination Shower Head: Best for matte black with a pivoting head

Delta 6-Setting PivotPro 3-in-1 Combination Shower Head, Delta shower heads with handheld combos
8.0/10Our score
  • 7 in raincan pivots 360 degrees
  • 6 spray settings
  • ProClean spray
  • Silicone spray face

The same pivoting PivotPro combo in matte black, with a silicone spray face that resists build-up.

See it on Amazon

Pros

  • Pivots for height and angle
  • Silicone face wipes clean easily
  • 6 spray settings

Cons

  • Matte black finish needs more wiping
  • Same 7 in head size as the brushed nickel version

This is the same PivotPro combo in matte black, for bathrooms already running black fixtures. The 360-degree pivot and extended height options work the same way, and the 6-setting hand shower includes ProClean and pause.

It has the same 16 oz weight and 16.44 in span as the brushed nickel version.

The difference is the spray face. The silicone face resists build-up and wipes clean with warm, soapy water, which suits hard-water areas.

The matte black finish is tested for corrosion resistance at twice industry standards. It also ships with the hand shower, mount, shower arm and hose in one box.

The trade is the finish itself. Matte black shows water spots more than brushed nickel, so it needs more wiping to keep it looking sharp.

The 7 in head is also smaller than the rain picks. The pivot does more for a low arm than a bigger face would, though.

Buy it if your bathroom is matte black and you want a head you can raise or tilt. Pick the brushed nickel version if easy cleaning matters more than the color match.

The silicone face is the better pick for hard water in either finish.

How these Delta shower head and handheld combos compare

Our score weighs specs, features and buyer feedback against what you're shopping for. A 12 in square head scores higher for coverage than a 7 in round one.

A full kit loses points for install scope against a screw-on head that swaps in minutes.

We started with the Delta combo family and the close rivals that share its 2-in-1 layout. Head size, spray settings, hose length, finish durability and what's in the box set the order.

Then we checked where each one fits: a quick swap, a rain soak, a full remodel or a cleaning tool.

What the specs tell you about daily use

The numbers that matter most are head face size, hose length and the diverter. Face size sets how much of your body the fixed head covers.

The 12 in square face on the BOZYBO and the 10 in square on the matte black kit cover more skin than the 6 in head on the Arvo or the 7 in raincan on the PivotPro.

Hose length sets reach. A 72 in hose on the SureDock, matte black rain kit, Arvo kit and PivotPro models reaches further across a tub than the 59 in hose on the BOZYBO or the 60 in hose on the In2ition.

That matters when you rinse pets or scrub the tub floor.

Spray count matters less than which sprays you get. Every Delta pick here includes pause.

The 6-setting models add shampoo rinsing and a massage plus full-body combo. The 9-setting BOZYBO adds power jets.

Fewer settings is not a downgrade if the four you get are the four you use. Pause alone is worth more than two extra settings you never touch.

What should you check before buying a Delta combo head?

Measure your shower arm and overhead clearance first, then decide whether you want a screw-on head or a full valve kit. Head size, spray count and finish all follow from there.

Does the combo fit your existing shower arm?

The In2ition, HydroRain and rain-style heads screw onto a standard shower arm with no work behind the wall. The Arvo and Ashlyn kits need a valve fitted in the wall, so they belong in a remodel.

If you're replacing only the head, stay with the screw-on picks. If you're already opening the wall for tile or a new valve, the full kits save you buying the parts separately.

The Arvo includes the valve; the Ashlyn does not. Check the diverter too: the screw-on In2ition and HydroRain let both sprays run at once, and so do the rain kits.

How much coverage do you want from the fixed head?

A 12 in square face covers more of your body than a 7 in round one. Rain coverage is about the face size and the number of nozzles, so go bigger if the fixed head is the main event.

If you mostly use the wand and only want the fixed head for a quick rinse, a smaller round head keeps the install simple and costs less overhead room. Our Moen vs Delta shower heads comparison looks at how the two brands split on this.

Also weigh the arm reach: a 12 in face on a short arm can push water past the curtain.

Which finish will hold up in your bathroom?

Chrome and brushed nickel hide water spots best. Matte black looks sharper but needs more wiping.

Delta tests its Brilliance and matte black finishes well past industry corrosion standards, so the finish itself holds up.

Match the finish to the rest of the bathroom first. A head that clashes with the faucet is the one thing no spec sheet can fix.

SpotShield on the brushed nickel PivotPro goes a step further and resists spots and fingerprints. The matte black kit also comes with a wall bracket, so you can mount the wand without opening the wall.

How many spray settings do you actually use?

Four settings cover most routines: full body, massage, a combined spray and pause. Six or nine settings add shampoo rinsing and power jets, which help with pets, kids and cleaning the tub.

More settings don't make a better shower on their own. Pick pause and a massage spray as the must-haves, then treat the rest as a bonus.

If a long hose matters more than sprays, our Delta hand held shower head with hose guide covers the reach-first options. A wide fan spray like ProClean is the one extra setting worth paying for when you clean tile often.

Which Delta combo head should you buy?

For most bathrooms, buy the Delta 4-Setting In2ition 2-in-1 Dual Shower Head. It's the easiest best Delta shower head with handheld combo to live with: the wand docks in the head, both sprays run together and the swap takes minutes.

Choose the HydroRain if cleaning tile and glass is the reason you want a wand. Pick the matte black rain kit for a square 10 in face and a longer hose.

Go with the Arvo or Ashlyn when you're replacing the valve and want a full kit in one box. And if height is the problem, the PivotPro's pivoting raincan solves it better than a bigger face.

If you want the widest rain face and don't mind buying outside Delta, the BOZYBO's 12 in square head covers the most. The SureDock is the pick when the handheld is what you use most and the fixed head is an afterthought.

Whatever you choose, check the arm height and overhead clearance before ordering. A wide rain face is only worth it when there's room to stand under it.

And if your home runs low water pressure, favor the smaller round heads, which push a stronger stream from the same 1.75 GPM.

Frequently asked questions

Do Delta combo shower heads fit a standard shower arm?

The In2ition and HydroRain heads screw onto a standard shower arm and need no plumbing behind the wall. Full trim kits like the Arvo and Ashlyn need a valve, so plan that install separately.

Can you use the handheld and the fixed head at the same time?

Yes on the In2ition, HydroRain, Arvo and Ashlyn models, which send water to both sprays together. The diverter on the rain-style picks also lets you switch between them or run both.

How long are the hoses on these Delta combos?

Hoses run from 59 in on the BOZYBO to 72 in on the SureDock, matte black rain and Arvo kits. A longer hose helps when you rinse kids, pets or the tub floor.

Are these combo heads water efficient?

The Delta models run at 1.75 GPM and carry the WaterSense label on the rain and In2ition picks. WaterSense means at least 20 percent less water than the industry standard without giving up performance.
